Sidereal Insights Astrology
Western Sidereal Astrology uses different dates than you are used to.
Look for your date of birth to find your horoscope.
Welcome to Sidereal Insights, every
month we explore the astrology of the current planetary transits across the heavens from a western sidereal perspective.
Be sure to read for your sidereal sun
and rising sign, which may be different than the sign you're accustomed to. Sidereal astrology is different from traditional
tropical astrology, so your regular sun and rising signs may not apply in a sidereal reading or forecast.
dates on the signs have changed a little***
February is a season
of change and adjustment for many readers, especially sidereal Cancer and Cancer rising, Aquarius and Aquarius rising, anyone
with planets or personal points at 16 °or 17° of a water or earth sign, that is, Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces, Capricorn,
Virgo or Taurus, as well as anyone with planets or points at 2° of air or fire signs Aquarius, Libra, Gemini, Aries, Leo,
That covers a lot of people, some more than once -- and with two eclipses affecting
us this month in different ways there will be plenty to adjust to.
For just this reason it's
best to stay open to change, be flexible and ready to roll with any punches which come our way, good or bad. During eclipse
season it's common for new information to come out which we didn't have access to before, for hidden things to come to light,
or for secrets to be revealed. These revealings can affect any plans we have in motion in dramatic and unexpected ways, and
usually in ways which are beyond our ability to control. All we can really do is adapt.

Waiting to act or commit can be beneficial, especially until after the eclipse has delivered it's news, so if you
are able to take things slow and delay important actions and decisions, do so.
having just come off the first of this season's two eclipses, a full moon lunar eclipse at 16° 37' Cancer. Expect news
of something new coming into your life which you must adjust to within the first week of February if you haven't already received
your eclipse message.
Because eclipses can deliver their news up to two months before or after
the eclipse event, some of us will have already discovered what's in store.
News from the January
31st eclipse is likely to be delivered near December 3rd, January 1st & 2nd, March 1st & 2nd, April 1st, and in the
week before and after the eclipse itself.
Think of the distribution of affected people as a bell
curve--a small number of folks will hear their news on December 3rd and April 1st, with a slightly larger pool of people affected
Jan 1st-2nd and March 1st-2nd, and the bulk of folks due for news will hear in the two weeks around the January 31st eclipse
itself, between January 25th and February 6th.
The February 15th new moon solar eclipse at 2°
08° Aquarius will deliver announcements near December 18th, January 17th, March 17th and April 16th, in the same bell
curve-like distribution, with the largest impact being felt in the days between February 8th-22nd.
back to the dates in early and mid December & January to see if you recall any significant events or important news which
may have come your way for clues. If nothing comes to mind, keep close watch near the dates yet to come and take note as to
what comes up for you, especially so if you have a planet or point at one of the previously mentioned degrees.
For even more insight, think back to what was going on in your life nineteen years ago--eclipses follow what we call
the Saros cycle, reoccurring at the exact same sign and degree every nineteen years. Whatever comes up now will be directly
related to the events you experienced back then.
Early in the month Uranus resumes his tour of
sidereal Aries, a tour he began late April 2017 before he turned retrograde. Now that Uranus is direct his 7 year transit
of Aries will resume in full swing, so if you feel the impulse to behave like a rebellious child near the 2nd you'll know
why. You may have had something unexpected come up in late April last year which relates to this transit, the House Aries
occupies in your own natal chart will point to the area of life where you feel this impulse the most.
Venus and Mercury will also move into Aquarius during the first half of the month, joining the sun and moon there
in time for the February 15th eclipse. With Neptune already in Aquarius, we'll have quite the celestial party taking place
in the most humanitarian of signs. This new moon solar eclipse invites us all to reconnect with our capacity for fellowship
and brother--or sister--hood in a deeper and more meaningful way. Find ways to volunteer in your community: join a cause,
build bridges, make friends, and discover a bottomless well of love for--and from--your fellow human beings.
