Idahoans for a Fair Wage is a group of concerned Idahoans who saw a crisis in Idaho and is working to address that crisis. Couch has lived in the Boise area since 1965 and graduated from Borah High School and Boise State University. After serving as music director and research director at KFXD, where he was employed for 10 years, Couch accepted a job with the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked until his retirement six years ago. When the Idaho Legislature failed to act this year, Idahoans for a Fair Wage modeled its initiative after the bill introduced by Boise’s Sue Chew and Chris Abernathy of Pocatello. The initiative has now been signed by 20,000 Idahoans!
