From Snake to Horse: How to Work With the
Energetic Shift Beginning February 17
Even if you’re reading this after February 17, this message is still for you.
Energetic years don’t flip like a light switch. They unfold, integrate, and ripple outward over time. The transition from the Year of the Snake into the Year of the Horse is not a single moment, it’s a lived process. We are still very much inside this energy now.
The Snake year asked us to shed.
To see clearly.
To confront truth, patterns, and endings we could no longer bypass.
To see clearly.
To confront truth, patterns, and endings we could no longer bypass.
The Horse year asks something different.
It asks for movement.
It asks for movement.
Forward momentum.
Embodied choice.
Aligned action rooted in everything you learned during the shedding.
Embodied choice.
Aligned action rooted in everything you learned during the shedding.
This is the year where insight becomes behavior, and healing becomes lived expression.
Here’s how to work consciously with this energetic shift. Whether you’re just beginning or already feeling the call to move.
1. Get crystal clear on your new identity
This is not about setting goals.
It’s about defining who you are now.
Who are you becoming after everything you’ve survived, healed, and outgrown?
Write it out in detail:
• How this version of you thinks and speaks to themselves
• Your standards in relationships, health, and work
• Your boundaries
• Your discernment
• The conversations you allow
• Your visibility
• Even how you use your time and energy online
Clarity creates coherence.
Coherence creates momentum.

2. Leave what’s misaligned
This is often the hardest step and the most necessary.
The relationship.
The city.
The friendships.
The roles or dynamics that no longer match who you are becoming.
You cannot grow inside environments that belong to a past version of you. Trying to do so only delays what’s already calling you forward.
Letting go isn’t failure.
It’s completion.

3. Do the shadow work
Every new vision requires honesty.
When you claim a new identity, you must also meet the parts of you that still self-sabotage:
• Fear
• Shame
• Grief
• Old survival strategies that once kept you safe
Shadow work is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about integrating what was never allowed space.
What remains unintegrated will repeat.
Every time.

4. Declutter your physical and digital space
Your environment shapes your nervous system.
Clear your home.
Clean your closet.
Release what belongs to an old chapter of your life.
Digitally:
• Unfollow what drains you
• Mute what anchors you to the past
• Create space for clarity
Your surroundings either support regulation or reinforce chaos.

5. Integrate and regulate
Before rushing forward, fully process what’s behind you.
Feel what needs to be felt.
Express what was held in.
Let emotional cycles complete.
Nothing blocks abundance faster than overriding the body’s needs. Regulation increases your capacity to hold what you’re calling in.
Peace is not a pause, it’s preparation.
6. Audit your habits
Be honest.
Release habits that no longer serve you physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually.
Then choose new ones that support who you are becoming and make them non-negotiable.
Consistency is self-trust in action.

Support & Integration
Transitions like this don’t have to be navigated alone.
I’ve opened my intimate studio sanctuary, a space intentionally designed for nervous-system regulation, energetic integration, and deep restoration, just a couple doors down from Crone’s Cupboard.

Some shifts happen through insight.
Others happen through frequency, breath, and the body.
Others happen through frequency, breath, and the body.
The Year of the Horse rewards courage, embodiment, and aligned forward movement.
If you feel the pull to move but not rush.
To act but from regulation rather than pressure.
You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

You’re exactly where you’re meant to be.
