With Pen & Paper in hand find yourself a quiet place to be for a bit.
Take a few cleansing breaths to clear your mind and bring yourself to the present moment.
Maybe light a candle and/or play some relaxing music.
Close your eyes for a minute to “just be”.
Now think about all the connections/relationships you have in your life. Family, Friends, Loved ones, Pets, Co-workers, Teachers, the Divine, the Universe, Creator.
Pick 3 to 5 of these connections to focus on today... Can you think of at least one time that you were Thankful for this relationship? Write it down. Relax. How does this Thankful memory make you feel?
I know that some of these relationships may not be easy or comfortable, however, think of just one time that was good and feel the Thankfulness inside you grow and put it out into the Universe with love in your heart.
That wasn’t so hard, was it?
Now move on to the second relationship on your list today. Remember, this is for you. This is to help you remember your relationships in a good, positive way that helps you see the good. It will make you feel better within yourself to do this.
Keep going ~ you are doing a great job! Write it down so you can look at it later just to remind yourself of what you have to be grateful for.
Once you are finished looking at a few of your connections/relationships with others... I want you to look at your relationship with yourself. Relax. Breath.
Did you do anything nice for yourself today, something as simple as choosing a bottle of water over a soda? Did you share some kindness with another? Can you see, hear, walk, read? Can you be grateful for what you DO have? Have you enjoyed the beauty of the earth? Can you look in the mirror and feel good? Yay! Write it down.
